As Christians, we practice baptism as an enactment of our desire to follow Jesus, and to participate symbolically in his life, death, and resurrection. Baptism also marks our commitment to participate in the Body of Christ, which is the church community, as well as our commitment to serve the world that God loves.

Periodically, we offer six-week group classes that are an introduction to Adventist Christian faith, practices, and beliefs. These classes are a great start to your journey towards baptism or for becoming a member of the La Sierra University Church. The classes meet in the Fall and Spring on Saturday mornings during the Bible Study time (10:00am to 11:00am). Pastors are also available to study one-on-one if a group class is not scheduled.
