Dear Lord Jesus,
I ask You for the strength and protection of my family. You know what is happening in our family and, try as I might, I feel myself weak. I am pressing on, but I need Your guidance and protection. Please send Your mightiest angels to protect my family and our home. Let those people who mean to do us harm see Your soldiers standing guard on all sides of our home.
Take my fears, Lord. Take my children’s fears and anxiety. I pray for my children, that they may always seek You, in good and difficult times. I can see their innocent faces and I can see the pain in their eyes. I wipe their tears away and hold them close, hoping that my arms will take their pain away. Look into their hearts and see their anguish. Take their suffering and hold them tight.
I beg You to keep their hearts pure and child-like. Help them understand that vengeance belongs to You. I place them both at Your feet that You may guide them and teach them to be like You. Please help them see the world through Your eyes and love. I know You have a plan for them and me. I pray for patience, because it is very difficult to wait for things to fall into place. I fear for their future. They will only be able to survive with You at the center.
As I walk into battle, please stay with me. Guide me through the fire and help me to be victorious, for the sake of my children. The walls feel as if they’re falling around me. I scream Your name in my head as the battle continues. Lift us onto Your shoulders for protection. My enemies think they are winning, with me being quiet. It takes every fiber of my being not to fight dirty like them. I ask that You continue to keep my heart pure.
I also ask that You help my enemies see their wrongdoing. They don’t understand what they are doing and are allowing others to dictate their decisions. Try as I might, I do still love them and want them to find happiness with You. I pray that You open their eyes. Despite the hurt they’ve caused me and my children, Lord, please look out for them. I have been trying my hardest to not wish anything bad upon my enemies.
I thank You Lord, for all You have already done for us. The doors You have opened have been nothing but miraculous. Please help me to continue to be strong in my faith to show my children that there is no success or love without You. Bless those that have helped my family in this time. I couldn’t be more grateful for the people You have put into our life. There are never enough thank-yous to say to You, Lord.
I love You.
