“The darkness of the past 12 months were washed away from my heart and mind as I stood on this cliff this week, feeling the ocean breeze on my face and watching the waves crashing below. The ocean, with all its power, mystery and majesty, always draws me into a holy space, into an awareness that my God is as strong as S/He is gentle, in motion as in stillness. The ocean reminds me of the vastness of God, and I rest; I feel whole.”
Ezekiel 43:2 (RSVCE) – “And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the east; and the sound of his coming was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with his glory.”
