“All creation is in need of healing. I met this beautiful creature in Thailand at an elephant sanctuary. He used to belong to a circus where he was mistreated and endured years of trauma. The spots on his skin were evidence of it. Jesus sees the spots evident on the outside and also those that hide in the deepest parts of our being. Jesus sees and attends to our pain.”
